WHETHER it’s watching breakaway bulls in the Grand Parade, sweaty muscles in the woodchopping contests to a cuppa and a couple of Country Women’s Association scones, the Royal Easter Show is a time-honoured tradition in Sydney.
For two weeks a year, city dwellers can spot Akubra hats, checked shirts and cow patties around every corner in Sydney’s Olympic Park.
The Show show injects more than $500m into the State’s economy each year, drawing around a million visitors of all ages eager to cover as much of the day’s program as possible.
Popular stops on the site include the Animal Nursery, Showbag Hall, Arts & Crafts Pavillion and District Exhibition of agricultural produce.
