Spicing Up September in Sydney

HELP The Spice Cellar to celebrate the first anniversary of its weekly Friday night underground music program, Soft& Slow.

Local and resident DJs will be at the decks on Friday, September 13, including Dreamcatcher, Pink Lloyd, Steven Sullivan, Aviery Jamieson & Jamie Lloyd.

The weekly residency is spearheaded by those lovable music addicts, Dreamcatcher and Pink Lloyd who head the journey into a soundscape that is ‘pitched-down house’ with disco vibes – the low-slung, slo mo, sexy side of house.

And once the clock strikes 3am, the heat is on.

With an ongoing commitment to the  independent music scene, The Spice Cellar established Soft&Slow Friday nights to provide a platform for local and electronic artists, providing an opportunity for regular gigs alongside international guests.

In its first year, the weekly line-up has included Moodymann, Crazy P, Fantastic Man, Tornado Wallace, Francis Inferno Orchestra, Friendly Fires, Otologic, Melbourne Deepcast, Norm De Plume, Trus Me, House of Disco label night, Andras Fox, Headman, Mitzi, Sleep D, Das Moth, Death Strobe label night, River & Phoenix, Kruse & Nuremburg, Debonair, Canyons, Knightlife, Gratts, The Tortoise, Andy Hart & Andee Frost.

A pioneering venue, Spice Cellar has been a major driving force in the renaissance of the underground music scene in Sydney – bringing together influences from the world’s leading club epicentres like Berlin, Miami, Sao Paolo and Ibiza.

Join residents Pink Lloyd & Dreamcatcher and their weekly feature guests for Soft&Slow, every Friday night from 10pm-6am.
